Community and SurveysÂ
Alida Discovery (coming mid-August 2026)
Find relevant surveys, questions, and answer options across your community using our new AI-powered search solution. Plain-language questions and keyword syntax are both supported, so you can search based on underlying intent rather than exact keyword matches.
AI Interviews (EAP)
Conduct structured, conversational research sessions within a survey using the power of AI. Authors configure a discussion guide with topics, probing depth, and tone. Participants complete a dedicated chat-style interview with real-time probing until each topic reaches sufficient depth.
Note:Â
- AI Interviews is available via Early Access Program (EAP) for select customers. If interested, reach out to your CSM.
- The Q3 2026 release supports text-based interviews. Voice and video formats are planned for a future release.
Save surveys as templates
Save frequently re-used survey structures as templates. These survey templates appear in a custom templates section alongside Alida library templates and can be accessed by other users. Surveys created from a template are independent copies, not linked back for automatic updates.
AI Survey Creator enhancements
Building on the functionality we released in Q2 2026, the AI Survey Creator now supports:
- Basic survey logic
- Text and Image elements
- End Survey actions
- Question and answer properties (randomization/rotation, response required, other/specify, pinned answer options)
Modern reporting enhancements
-
Data cleaning: Automated response quality tags
Automatically run a survey-level audit to identify potential quality issues with responses. You can check responses for speeders, gibberish, low quality, personally identifiable information (PII), and potentially AI-generated responses. -
Export from Manage Responses
You can now export your tagging data as an Excel, CSV, or SPSS file. - Weighting templates (coming mid-August 2026)
Save frequently used, profile-variable-based weighting schemes as reusable templates that you can apply to different modern reports. -
AI Summary of specific number of responses
You can now limit the number of Open Ends that the AI Summary feature analyzes. This setting is useful if you have lots of Open End responses to analyze for a time-sensitive project; instead of waiting hours to generate an AI Summary for all of them, you can limit analysis to a subset of responses for a "good enough" overview and get the insights you need faster.

Updates since Q2 2026 release
These features were released between April 2026 and July 2026.Â
Modern reporting enhancements
-
AI Image Moderation for Image Upload questions (beta)
AI Image Moderation helps protect researchers and stakeholders from seeing offensive or inappropriate images when viewing reports that contain image uploads from participants. When enabled, Alida automatically screens images using an AI service before they appear in Modern Reporting. -
MaxDiff analysis
Modern reporting offers a high-level summary view, a Zero-Centered Differences (ZCD) chart and table, a convergence plot, and TURF analysis for MaxDiff questions. -
Export to PowerPoint
Export a modern report to PowerPoint by leveraging the power of AI. -
Sentiment analysis word clouds
Open End questions now support word cloud visualizations on the Sentiment Analysis tab. Filter the word cloud to display all, positive, neutral, or negative topics. -
Export response data to Excel
Export response data to Excel as one large table, with one row per survey response. -
Export to SPSS
Export a modern report as a SAV file.
