Community and Surveys
AI Follow-Up
Improve the quality of responses to Short Answer and Long Answer questions by enabling AI Follow-Up. Once enabled, AI-generated follow-up questions are triggered whenever participants provide poor-quality answers. The follow-up questions prompt participants to elaborate and provide more detail.
In the previous release, this feature was available to a limited number of customers by request. It is now generally available to everyone.
AI Member Group Builder
Use simple, natural language prompts to perform an AI-powered search to quickly find the right members and create member groups.
Closed Card Sort
Closed Card Sort questions are now available in modern surveys. Use closed Card Sort questions in usability testing to inform the design of user-friendly and intuitive information architecture, or as an alternative to Single Choice Grid questions.
Direct links from notifications to hub comments
Hub notifications now link to specific comments, allowing community managers to reply immediately.
Modern reporting enhancements
We've introduced these improvements to make modern reporting even better:
-
Smart groupings of other/specify and Open End responses
Use AI to automatically group related, open-ended answers to Single Choice, Multiple Choice, Short Answer, Long Answer, and Net Promoter Score follow-up questions. -
Export raw data to CSV
You can now export raw data to CSV for analysis outside of the application. -
Default heatmap view for Grid questions
The summary table for Grid questions now displays blue color-coded cells to indicate the most frequently selected answers. -
Default charts in customizable brand colors
Create customized charts for all quantifiable data in your brand's colors with the click of a button. -
Clickable Table of Contents
Navigate between questions inside a long report quickly and easily. -
Duplicate modern reports in list view
Quickly duplicate a listed modern report instead of manually re-creating filters, banners, and recode customizations.
New filters and controls in confirmation reminder emails
Customize your recipient filter in confirmation reminders to target people who are more likely to confirm membership (for example, people who completed the recruitment survey within a specific timeframe or meet certain criteria).
Export member and profile variable data with escaped values
To prevent a potential security issue known as a CSV injection, you can now append escaped values to any text that looks like a potential command or formula when exporting member and profile variable data.
New profile variables imported as Text profile variables
Previously, new profile variables were imported as Single Choice variables by default, which could create a large number of values inadvertently and impact application performance. New profile variables are now imported as Text profile variables.
Updates since Q3 2025 release
These features were released between July and October 2025.
Navigation enhancements
We've updated the Apps menu with a new look, providing faster and more intuitive access to all your features. We've also made it easier to access the Alida Help Center by moving Help to the main navigation toolbar.
Member and Member Group enhancements
These enhancements streamline and optimize your workflow for searching through member data to quickly create a cohort, reducing the time it takes to find the audience you want to study.
Automate user provisioning with SCIM
The Alida platform now supports the use of the System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) standard to automate adding, updating, and deprovisioning users. You administer your users in your Identity Provider and the SCIM provisioning process automatically manages these users and their permissions in the Alida platform based on the groups you define.
Protect dashboards with passcodes
In Analytics, you can now optionally set passcodes to protect the data in shared dashboards. Users will need both the share link for the dashboard and the correct passcode to access the dashboard.
