This page communicates the new features in Alida's October 2022 release.
Community and Surveys
-
Modern survey responding experience
Alida continues to update the survey responding experience, providing participants with a more visually appealing and intuitive survey interface. These question types are now available in modern view:
- Single Choice Grid - Table
- Single Choice Grid - Slider
- Multiple Choice Grid - Table
- Media Player
- Highlighter
-
You can now filter standard survey reports using Date questions and date-based respondent variables.
-
Survey language selection in responding
Allow survey participants to select which language they want to use from a dropdown menu. The languages available consist of the language the survey was authored in, the languages the survey was translated into, and the languages used in affiliated communities that have the same Group Code value.
-
Catalan is now available in responding.
-
Enhancements to distributions to support multi-market workflows
You can now create invitations and reminders for multiple communities at the same time. At each stage of the workflow, from composing the email to scheduling the distribution, you can easily switch between the invitations or reminders you are working with while staying on the same tab.
-
New Group Code setting for Admins
Organizations that maintain multiple communities can now use a user-defined Group Code to identify communities that should be grouped together. For example, a brand that has communities with three different languages can share the same group code. End-users have the option to choose from the three languages as they respond to a survey for the brand.
-
Data restriction enhancements for Admins
You can now download your current org hierarchy, either as a starting point to make changes or to save as a backup. Actions customers can also add custom columns to org hierarchy CSV files for use by the rules engine.
Analytics
-
New Analytics Home page
A new Home page simplifies the workflow for creating new Dashboards and Crosstabs, and accessing your favorites.
-
Favorite Dashboards and Crosstabs
Mark your favorite Dashboards and Crosstabs and access them from the Analytics Home page.
-
Set an expiry date for shared dashboard links
Set an expiry date when you share a dashboard link. The dashboard is inaccessible to all users through the link after the expiry date.
Touchpoint
-
Introducing Touchpoint Quick Polls and Recruit
All existing Community customers now have access to Touchpoint, allowing them to create a quick poll that can easily be embedded in their member hubs. Customers can engage with their members, collect quick feedback and understand what topics of conversation should be further explored on a larger scale through Community.
Additionally, upgraded customers can embed a recruitment survey link at the end of a Touchpoint activity, and distribute the Touchpoint activity across their existing platforms to recruit new community members.
TXM
-
Insert organizational hierarchy variables into your action
You can now insert variables from your organizational hierarchy to build more flexible actions in the Rules Engine.
Conversational Surveys
-
Introducing Conversational Surveys
Use the powerful and intuitive activity builder to create an SMS survey, design customized message flows for different segments based on participants' responses, and preview and simulate a conversation. Then, you can quickly and easily distribute the activity by just using participants' phone numbers. For this initial release, the following message types are supported:
- Statement
- Single Choice
- Numeric
- Open End
