This page communicates the new features in Alida's February 2023 release.
Community and Surveys
-
Video Discussions user permissions
If you have Video Discussions, you can assign users the Video Discussions User role to moderate video interviews without granting unnecessary access to other areas of the platform. Power User and Author roles now have more nuanced Video Discussion permission options.
-
Video Discussion transcription breakout by speaker
Transcriptions from multi-participant video discussions in English can now be automatically broken out by up to five speakers.
-
Image and alt text translation in multi-lingual surveys
Use localized images and alt text in survey translations.
-
Enhanced support for translating right-to-left (RTL) surveys
The Translations workspace now supports entering RTL language translations directly in the user interface.
-
Export a standard survey report as a PPTX file. Each question appears on its own slide. Once exported, you can customize the appearance of charts and tables on each slide.
-
- The distribution page menu is now organized by invitation type.
- Reminders are now nested under their parent invitations.
- You can now enable or disable activity links directly from the Links table.
Analytics
-
New Dashboard creation workflow
A new home page and wizard are available in the Analytics app to streamline the process of creating new dashboards and crosstab reports.
-
Navigate to datasets from dashboards and crosstab reports
Navigate from the Dashboards or Crosstabs pages to the dataset associated with a particular dashboard or crosstab report.
Touchpoint
-
A campaign is a collection of related activities that must be completed in a linear sequence. In a campaign, a respondent must complete one activity before the next one becomes available. Use campaigns to group together linked activities and distribute them more efficiently on websites or mobile apps.
-
Use custom themes to apply styling to an activity quickly. Custom themes can increase authoring efficiency, and keep branding and appearance consistent across screens.
-
Upload WOFF or WOFF2 files and use custom fonts in Touchpoint activities.
-
Flag a response as sensitive data
You can now select or clear the setting Treat the response as sensitive data in all screen types.
-
Other enhancements
We've added other features to make the responding experience in Touchpoint even better:
- New font Lato
- Added a close button on the Android app activity modal
- Auto-close the activity in the apps upon completion
Conversational Surveys
-
Conversational Survey user permissions
Users with the Analyst role now have restricted access in the Conversational Survey app.
-
Conversational Surveys distribution improvements
Changes to the Conversational Surveys Builder include but are not limited to:
- When manually inputting a phone number, you can now select the country code from a drop-down list.
- The system now validates phone numbers as valid 10-digit numbers if you enter them manually.
- Respondents now receive a customizable confirmation message if they opt out of a survey.
