Do blank fields in my import file overwrite existing data? (Power Surveys)

When importing a data file that contains blank fields for specific questions, this will overwrite existing data for these fields in the survey.

Details

When you are trying to create an import file where more than one question needs to be updated there are two options to create your import:

• You can first export the responses for all the questions you want to update for all the panelists to be updated. Then make the changes to the fields you want to change to then import the records back.
• You can prepare a separate import file for each of the questions including only the pertinent members to be updated.
