While you are creating the survey, add a hidden Single Choice question to the survey with answer options for each distribution method that you want to track. Then, when you are creating activity links, you can append variables to the end of the links that correspond to the answer options in the hidden question. When members complete the survey, the hidden question will capture which link they used; you can then use this information in your data analysis.
Example
You want to track which survey participants are coming in from Twitter, Facebook, and your company blog and use this data in your analysis of results later.
