Members with the Nonmember status can be purged by performing a
system upload to change the members’ status to
Purged.
- Create a comma-separated
values (CSV) file that meets
CSV file requirements.
- In the CSV file, include a
memberstatus column with
Purged as the member value.
Note:
- This task cannot be
performed by Author users.
- Keep Unsubscribed and
Undeliverable member statuses unchanged. For more information, see
Alida External Sample Waiver.

Perform a system upload by doing one of the following:
- Click the
App Drawer and select
Member Groups.
- Click the
App Drawer and select
Profile Variables.

On the
Member Groups or
Profile Variables toolbar, click
System Upload.

Click
Choose File, select a CSV file to import, and
click
Open.
The CSV file name appears.

Click
Upload.
A message informs you that the CSV file is being
processed. You can continue working while processing occurs. After the file is
imported successfully, you will be notified.
The application matches profile variables to
members using the values in the
MemberId or
Email columns. The system first looks for the
MemberId column in the CSV file and uses the
MemberId values if possible. If the CSV file does not
contain
MemberId, the system then looks for the
Email column and matches profile variables based on
members' email addresses.
The application updates member and profile variable values to
match what is in the system upload CSV file.
The application automatically deletes listings
for failed imports after 30 days.
