Import a weight scheme template

If your organization has weight scheme templates configured, you can import them while creating a weight scheme in a modern report.

Open the modern report.

Weight scheme templates are restricted to profile variable fields and store target percentages only. When you import a template, the target percentages are copied from the template and sample percentages are calculated from the responses in the current report.

Note:

• Minimum and maximum weight factor limits are not stored in a template. Set these limits on the Apply Weight to Variable(s) page after you import the template.
• If a profile variable value was added after the template was created, its target percentage defaults to 0%.
• If the current report has no responses corresponding to an answer option, you must set its target percentage to 0 before you can save the weight scheme.

1. On the report toolbar, select Statistics > Weighting.
   
   
   
2. Turn on the Weighting toggle.
3. Click the Weight Scheme list and click Import a Weight Scheme Template.
4. In the Choose Weight Scheme Template dialog, select the checkbox next to the template to use and click Import.
5. On the Apply Weight to Variable(s) page, review the target percentages copied from the template and the sample percentages calculated from the report data.
6. Adjust target percentages if necessary, set minimum and maximum weight factor limits if required, and then click Calculate Efficiency.
7. Click Save and then click Apply & Exit.
