Keep the following considerations in mind when planning your Member Hub.
Step 1: Create your profile
Your user profile is an opportunity to build authentic relationships with members. Community members can see your activity on the hub and communicate with you directly if they choose to.
- Your profile cover photo
- All the posts you shared on the hub
- A View Profile button
For more information, see User profiles.
Step 2: Design your Member Hub
Member Hubs are customizable. You can create a header cover, add logos and images, and format the text. To increase engagement, allow members to share posts on the hub that you can choose to publish or reject.
Step 3: Create collections
Collections help members navigate the hub. When you create a new collection, it will appear in the navigation menu under the hub cover.
Before you create a collection, consider the type of content it will contain. You should limit the number of collections to between 3-5, depending on the length of the collection name.

Step 4: Create posts
You can share charts and tables directly from your reports in Community, or links to articles on the internet. You can also share original content, such as blog posts and media files. This enables members to see what insights their participation is providing your organization and how you are using them to make decisions.
Step 5: Create a team of contributors
Invite members from within and outside your organization to contribute, share, and moderate content on the Member Hub. For more information, see Teams.
Step 6: Manage your posts
You can feature important posts on the hub to ensure they remain visible to members. You can also use the hub analytics to see an overview of which posts are being viewed, liked, and shared. Post performance analytics help you determine which posts are resonating with members.
