Power survey themes

Apply Community themes to determine the appearance of power surveys in desktop and mobile view.

Refer to this topic as you create a new Community theme with the theme editor open. The sections in this topic correspond to the headings in the theme editor.

To open the theme editor, click the App Drawer and select Theming.

Note: For upgraded customers, you can apply an active Community theme to your power survey in the Details tab in Power Survey Authoring. Your theme type selection will become visible to all participants who have not yet started the survey.

Survey (desktop view):

The following fonts are available: Arial Georgia Hand of Sean Helvetica Montserrat Open Sans Raleway Roboto Times New Roman Verdana Note: If the community locale is set to an Asian language, the only available font options are Serif and Sans-Serif. Default font sizes: 16px Question Font 14px Answer Font You can override the default Question Font settings using the Editing toolbar. Pick a color that matches the header image background. That way, if members are viewing the survey on a screen wider than your header image, the header will still appear contiguous. Alternately, use a transparent image and choose a background color that reflects your branding. For more information about images, see Community theme image specifications. The footer looks different in mobile view. In mobile view, the links and footer text are inside a menu and the footer logo is not displayed. The maximum number of characters for footer text is 512.

Notable changes to question appearance

Question type	Description	Example
Allocation Slider	The Content Background Color is not applied to the grid in Allocation Slider questions. The Answer Font and Answer Font Color are applied to the scale values.
Visual Grid	The Content Background Color is not applied to the grid in Visual Grid questions.
Single Choice Grid	In Single Choice Grid questions, the grid text will appear over the Content Background Color.
Allocation Grid	The Content Background Color is visible in the row text, but not the answer field.
Numeric Slider	The Content Background Color is applied to the scale background.
