Create a custom HTML embed

Use custom HTML to add rich external content or a call to action in the body of a post. For example, you can use a widget to direct members to a website or ask them to subscribe to a newsletter. The custom HTML embed also allows you to create member hub widgets.

Copy the HTML source code for the content you want to embed.

1. In the content stream, click inside the What do you want to share? box, click the Add button, and select Custom HTML.
   
2. Paste the HTML source code into the HTML box and click Save.
3. Create the rest of your post by adding surrounding text, images, and so on.
4. Click Save Draft to save the post and work on it later, or click Post to publish the widget in the content stream immediately.
