When a participant selects an exclusive column in a Multiple Choice Grid question, they cannot select any other columns for that answer.
Exclusive column example
You have created a Multiple Choice Grid question that asks
participants to evaluate a variety of department stores based on different
criteria. You create a column that says
Never shopped there
and you don't want participants to be able
to select both
Never shopped there
and a criterion.
Click
Options, and select
Make column exclusive choice.
The column is set as
exclusive. Any participant who selects an answer from within this column will
not be able to select another answer.
