Upload an avatar

Upload a unique avatar to personalize the appearance of your profile, posts, and replies. Alternatively, you may want to use a branded avatar if you are moderating a forum for a brand or company.

1. In the upper right-hand corner of the forum page, click your account name.
2. In the My Profile area, click Upload Avatar Image.
3. In the Upload Image dialog, click Browse.
4. Browse for your image, select it, and click Open.

   Maximum file size	6 MB
   Recommended dimensions	200 x 200 pixels
   Supported formats	BMP GIF JPG or JPEG PNG

5. Click Insert.

If there are recommended dimensions and your image exceeds them, your image will be cropped or resized in one of these ways.

If the image exceeds	Then
The recommended height and width	A portrait image is resized to the recommended width. A landscape image is resized to the recommended height. After resizing, any portion of the image that falls outside the recommended width and height is cropped.
The recommended width	The image is resized to the recommended width.
The recommended height	The image is resized to the recommended height.
