Edit a participant's profile

Participants can edit their own profiles. Moderators can change a participant's personal profile settings if a participant has chosen an offensive screen name or profile picture. Moderators can also modify each other's profiles.

To perform this task, you must be an admin user.

1. On the forum page, in the participant's post or reply, do one of the following:
   • Click the participant's screen name link.
   • Click the participant's profile picture.
   The participant's profile page appears.
2. In the upper right-hand corner of the User Profile area, click Edit.
   The participant's personal settings are available for editing.
3. Make your changes.
   The participant's settings work just like your personal settings except that they apply to the participant.

   • Edit the screen name

   • Upload an avatar
   • Select your personal notification settings
4. When you are finished, click Save.
   If you edited the screen name, the participant will receive an email notification about the screen name change.
