Use the following workflow examples as a guide for creating different filters in the Filter panel.
Note: The Dataset Type and Response Status filter conditions, present in
the examples below, are added by default to all report filters. In some cases,
you may need to modify these conditions to return the results you want.
Filter one condition
Example
You want to report only on female participants.
- Click Add Filter to add a new condition.
- Select This Survey as the condition source.
- Select Gender as the question.
- Select Is as the operator.
- Select Female as the answer value.
- Click Apply & Exit.
Survey question and profile variables
Example
You want to report on full-time employees who are likely to recommend your company to others as a workplace. Q4 Likelihood to Recommend is a question in your quarterly employee satisfaction survey, while Employment is a profile variable.
- Click Add Filter to add a new condition.
- Select This Survey as the condition source.
- Select Q4 Likelihood to Recommend as the question.
- Select Is as the operator.
- Select 4 or 5 - Extremely likely as the answer value.
- Click Add Filter to add an additional condition.
- Select Profile Variable as the source for the new condition.
- Select Employment as the profile variable.
- Select Is as the operator.
- Select Employed Full Time (40 hours or more) as the answer value.
- Click Apply & Exit.
