By filtering report data, you focus your analysis only on participants who meet the conditions you specify.

On the report toolbar, click
Filters.
The Filters panel appears.

Set your filter conditions.
Note: By default, each modern report includes two conditions to include only live data and completed responses. You can modify these criteria if, for example, you are running a test and only want to view the test data.
Option Description 1. Condition source Specify whether the condition is based on: -
This Survey: This option includes a list of questions from your survey. In the case of Single Choice Grid and Multiple Choice Grid questions, you can choose the answer to filter on. This option also includes Response Data with fields that provide information about the survey, such as the date the survey was completed and the respondent's locale.
Tip: If you have multiple multilingual communities, use Response Data to filter your report by the survey language and member locale. - Profile Variable: This option includes all supported profile variables. Calculated Date profile variables are not supported in reports.
2. Question or profile variable Select the survey question, response data field, or profile variable from the list.
If you have created profile variable categories, the categories assigned to each profile variable are displayed next to the profile variable in the drop-down list.
3. Condition operator Select the operator for the condition. For information on the supported options for each question type and profile variables, see Filters: Condition operators in modern reports.
4. Answer or value Select one or more answers or values for the condition. 5. AND Specifies that participants have to meet all conditions to have their data included or excluded.
Note: OR conditions are not included in this release of modern reporting.6. Remove condition Click the minus sign on the right side of a condition to delete it from the filter. 7. Add filter Click Add Filter to add an additional criteria to your filter. -

Click
Apply & Exit to apply the filter to your
report and save it.
The report updates and displays data from participants who meet the filter's conditions. Under the report toolbar, a filter statement appears that informs you which filter conditions have been applied to the report data.
You can edit the filter at any time by returning to the Filters panel and updating the criteria to apply to your report.
