Learn about creating and using dashboards and crosstab reports, and working with favorites.
Welcome to Analytics!
The Home page is the first page you see when you land on the Analytics app. Here, you can start creating dashboards or crosstab reports, and access your favorites – your most frequently used dashboards and crosstabs.
The navigation menu on the left enables you to navigate between the Dashboards, Crosstabs, and Datasets pages.
- Dashboards enable you to discover, visualize, and share insights in real time.
- Crosstabs allow you to show the relationship between two or more variables across different questions, surveys, and data sources.
- Datasets enable Admins to connect to data sources including surveys, profile variables, and CSV files and make them available as datasets for use in Crosstabs. Admins can also refine and shape the data in a dataset using custom fields, scalar fields, and weighting. For more information, see Datasets.
Favorites
Favorites allow you to view and work with the information that is most important to you or accessed most frequently.
Any favorites you add in the Dashboards or Crosstabs pages are displayed in Favorite Dashboards and Favorite Crosstabs respectively.
- To mark a favorite on the
Dashboards page or the
Crosstabs page, click
Favorite next to the name of the item.
The Favorite button turns yellow, indicating that the item was favorited successfully, and it is added to the Home page.
- Remove a favorite by
clicking on a yellow
Favorite button.
The Favorite button turns white, indicating that the item was unfavorited successfully, and it is removed from the Home page.
In the Favorite Dashboards and Favorite Crosstabs tabs on the Home page, you can:
- Click the link in the Name column to open the favorite.

Click the Options menu and select from menu items to manage the favorite.

Click any of the column headings with small arrows next to them to sort the list of favorites by that column.
