How do I add an embedded PDF to my survey?

This workflow is recommended for customers who want to show a PDF document without redirecting participants outside of the survey. This helps to maintain survey response rates by embedding the document via a Google Drive link. 

Prerequisite: The PDF file should be hosted on Google Drive. Set the permissions so Anyone with the link can view the PDF document.

Detailed Steps 

1. Open the PDF in Google Drive's preview mode.
2. Click the More actions (three vertical dots) menu and select Open in new tab.
3. Go to the new tab.
4. In the new tab, click the More actions (three vertical dots) menu and select Embed item.
   This will provide HTML with the appropriate URL for embedding the PDF.
5. Copy the provided HTML.
6. In the Alida platform, open your survey.
7. From the Survey Builder Toolbox, under Multimedia Content, drag or click the Embedded Content element.
   
8. In the Table of Contents, click the Embedded Content element.
9. In the Embed content field, paste the provided HTML tag from Google Drive.
