The screen reader detection script will determine whether a participant entering a survey is using specialized software known as a screen reader. If detected, the script will convert the survey into accessibility mode. The survey in accessibility mode is less visual and allows the participant's screen reader software to function as intended, aiding the participant throughout the survey.
The script itself is placed within a Text Instruction question which also includes a manual link to the accessibility mode of the survey. If a participant's screen reader is undetected by the script and they are still viewing the classic mode of the survey, they can use this link in the Text Instruction to access the accessibility mode of the survey. Please see our More Information section below for details of how you can preview a survey in this mode.
Note: The screen reader detection script can be obtained by reaching out to your Customer Success Manager.
