Download MaxDiff choice data as a comma-separated file for use outside the platform.
Use Export MaxDiff (.csv) when you need a flat file of each participant's Most / Least choices by attribute set (for example, to run your own analysis in another tool). The CSV file does not include part-worth utilities, a live Zero-Centered Differences (ZCD) summary, or editable weighting and segmentation.
If you need individual-level utilities and an interactive ZCD summary in Excel, export the MaxDiff analysis workbook instead.
The CSV contains one row for each participant and each MaxDiff attribute set they saw. For example, if a participant completed seven sets, that participant contributes seven rows.
Each row includes response metadata and a column for every MaxDiff attribute in the question.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| ResponseID | The unique identifier for the survey response. |
| MemberID | The unique identifier for the participant on the Alida platform. |
| Response Status | The status of the participant's response to the survey (for example, Completed). |
| Response Started Time | The timestamp when the participant started the survey. |
| Response Completed Time | The timestamp when the participant completed the survey. |
| DataSet Type | Whether the response is live data or another dataset type used in the report. |
| DisplayType | The device or display type used to take the survey (for example, Desktop or Mobile). |
| UserAgent | The browser user agent string recorded for the response. |
| RespondentLocale | The locale associated with the participant. |
| SetID | The MaxDiff attribute set number for this row. Each set corresponds to one screen of Most / Least choices in the experimental design. |
| Attribute columns |
