View and filter posts using the tag cloud (Forums)

Use the tag cloud's functionality to filter and view tagged posts and replies.

To perform this task, you must be an admin user.

Note: This task cannot be performed in mobile view.

Note: To use the tag cloud, the forum must have tagged posts and replies.

Tip: Click a tag inside a post or reply to quickly view all posts or replies with that tag.

1. Sign in to the forum.

   On the forum page, the word and tag clouds appear below the forum title and description, and above the posts and replies. You can switch between the tag cloud and word cloud views.

   The tag cloud contains tags if the forum has tagged posts and replies; otherwise, the tag cloud is empty.

2. Click Tags.
   The cloud view changes from the word cloud to the tag cloud.
3. Optional: Hover over a tag to see the percentage of posts and replies that use that tag.
4. Click one or more tags in the tag cloud to only display posts and replies that contain the selected tags.
   Selected tags are highlighted blue.
5. Optional: Click a highlighted tag in the tag cloud to deselect it.
6. Optional: Select the number of tags to display in the tag cloud.
   By default, the tag cloud displays all tags.
   1. In the bottom left corner of the tag cloud, click Options, and select Select number of tags.
   2. Select an option:
      • 25
      • 50
      • 100
      • All
   3. Optional: Click Options, and select Hide options to restore the original cloud view.
7. Optional: Choose how to arrange the tags in the tag cloud.
   By default, tags are arranged alphabetically.
   1. In the bottom left corner of the tag cloud, click Options, and select Arrange tags by.
   2. Select an option:
      • Alphabetical: Arranges tags alphabetically.
      • Count: Arranges tags from the highest post and reply counts to the lowest.
   3. Optional: Click Options, and select Hide options to restore the original cloud view.
8. Optional: Export the filtered forum as a CSV file.

Tip: To clear selections, and restore your original forum view which includes the word cloud and the tag cloud, do any of the following:

• On the right side of the forum toolbar, click Show All.
• In the top left corner of the page, click the forum link.
• Use the back button on your web browser.
