Create a hub moderator in Community

Community Admin users are automatically granted Moderator permissions in the member hub.

Note:

• This task cannot be performed by Author users.
• Author users cannot access the hub from Community. To invite an Author to join the hub, Create a collaborator or moderator.
• Community users can use the same email to log in to the Member Hub; however, the two accounts are not linked.
• You cannot use Community to create a Moderator in a Stakeholder Hub.

1. In the navigation bar, click Product Settings > Manage Users.
   
2. Click New User.
3. In the Email Address field, type the user's email address.
4. In the Name field, type the user's name.
5. In the Role section, click Admin.
6. From the Language list, select the language that the user will see in the application.

   The user can change this setting to their personal preference when they sign in.

   Note: If the user you are adding already exists in another application instance of Community, you cannot change their Language setting.
7. From the Region list, select the locale setting that will be used for the language and for the formats of dates, times, and numbers.
8. Click Add.
   The new user is added and an invitation email is sent to the email address you specified. The email contains the user's sign-in credentials.

Community Admin users must access the hub from the Hubs app.
