Adding a custom filter

Use custom filters when you need to add advanced business logic to a filter.

Custom filters can be used alone, or in combination with basic or advanced match filters.

1. In the Filters panel, select the Custom Filter checkbox.
   
2. Enter a dimension or function. The editor displays a list of functions, operators, and field names to use in your expression. Click on an entry in the drop-down to add it to your expression. You can add as many fields, functions, and operators as your business logic requires. Your completed expression must evaluate to true or false.

3. To see the results of the filter, click Run.
4. In the Edit Tile dialog box, click Save.
5. In the dashboard toolbar, click Save.
