On rare occasions when you are uploading a PDF to the community footer, you may receive the error message "An error occurred during the upload. Please try again."
If this error message appears, you can save your PDF as a new file and try uploading it again.
Detailed Steps
- Open the document in Microsoft Word.
- Enable editing on the document.
- Click File > Save As.
- Save the document as a new PDF file.
- Upload the new PDF file to the footer:
- In the Community app, click Community > Member Experience.
- Click Community Setup.
- Click Add Footer Link.
- Type a Link Name.
- From the Link to list, select File.
- Click Browse, browse for the PDF, and click Open.
- Click Add.
- Click Save.
