Currently, the Surveys app does not have an asset manager that you can use to upload PDFs or other documents to show to activity participants. However, you can use the workaround described in this topic to do so.
Detailed Steps
- In the Community app, click Community > Member Experience.
- Click Community Setup.
- Click Add Footer Link.
- Type a Link Name.
- From the Link to list, select File.
- Click Browse, browse for the PDF, and click Open.
- Click Add.
- Click Save.
The PDF is uploaded and a new footer link is created. - Hover over the blue link next to Link to File, right-click the link, and select Copy link address.
This is the URL you will use when you show the PDF to activity participants. - Paste the URL somewhere that is easily accessible (for example, a text editor).

Important: Delete the footer link you just created, and click Save.
This way, the footer link will not appear in survey and forum pages.
