Below are some causes of bulk issues:
- Mailing to high Invalid Email Addresses and/or Spam Trap addresses. This is a risk when you are importing a list that is old or may not have double opted-in.
- Receiving high Abuse Complaints from your members.
- Having a spammy subject line (ie. “Take this FREE survey to WIN a big prize!!!”)
- Having spammy content in your message body.
Remediation:
- Click here to read an article on writing a good survey invitations to ensure you are following best practices.
- If you make improvements to your subject line and message body, ensure that you send test messages the specific ISPs in question to see if your message is still going to the Junk/Spam/Bulk folder.
- If the issue persists, your bulking issue could be caused by mailing to a high number of Invalid Email Addresses and/or Spam Trap addresses and/or getting high Abuse Complaints, and may not be content-related.
