You can set the answer option "None of the above" as exclusive in the Multi Choice question. You can then use a conditional sequence to exclude participants that select this option from the follow-up question that's using masking.
Example
You have a Multi Choice question called Q1 that contains a "None of the above" answer option. You are asking a follow-up question called Q2 based on the selections in Q1 and using masking to bring in the responses selected. You would like to exclude the "None of the above" answer option from Q2.Detailed Steps
Set the answer option as exclusive
- In the questionnaire tree, select the Multi Choice question. Using the example above, this is Q1.
- Beside the "None of the above" answer option, select the checkbox for Exclusive.
- Click Save.
Create a conditional sequence
- From the Folder menu, select Conditional Sequence.
- Enter a name for the condition.
- Search for the Multi Choice question. Using the example above, this is Q1.
- Add this question to the condition.
- Click the Exclude tab.
- Add a condition.
- Add logic for Exclude Q1 IS None of the Above.
- Drag Q2 inside this condition.
