How do I set the number of ranks required in a Rank Order Grid question? (Power Surveys)

You can set the property Required row count on the Rank Order Grid question, to specify the number of items a respondent must rank before they can proceed to the next question. 

Note: The Rank Order Grid question must have the same number of rows and columns. A script can be applied to hide additional columns that are not required. 

Example

You would like to set the required number of rows on the Rank Order Grid question to three.

Detailed Steps

Set the Rank Order Grid question properties

1. Click the Questionnaire tab in Power Survey Authoring.
2. Select the Rank Order Grid question in your Questionnaire Tree.
3. Click Properties.
4. Enter the required number of items to rank in the Required row count field. Using the above example, set this field to 3.
5. Click Save.

Note: The Required row count field will override the Question completion required property.
