How do I make a survey end automatically after a set number of responses? (Power Surveys)

No matter how many people are invited to a study, you can allow a pre-set number of respondents to answer the survey by using an Entry Quota.

Example

You want to have only 20 responses for your study, but you want to invite more people so that you hit your target number faster.

Details

1. In the power survey, go to the Quotas tab.
2. Click Add Entry Quota.
3. Name the new quota, and click OK.
4. Specify the number of responses you would like to receive in the Quota Target field (for example, 20).
5. Complete all appropriate fields.
6. Click OK to save the quota and return to the Quotas tab, or Apply and then OK to apply the quota immediately before returning to the Quotas tab.

Note: You may get more than the set number of respondents since the quota will not take effect until the set numbered respondent completes the study. In the example above, if the 20th person takes a long time to respond and other respondents start the survey during this time, the people who already started responding will be allowed to finish. In this case, you will have more than 20 responses to the study.
