How can I view Open End or other-specify responses? (Power Surveys)

Verbatim responses can be viewed via an export or the Verbatims report. An export will provide all verbatim responses, while the Verbatims report will display up to 500 responses.

Example

You have an other-specify answer option in a choice question in your survey and you would like to view the verbatim responses.

Detailed Steps

Export the data

1. Open the power survey.
2. On the Build page, click Edit to open Power Survey Authoring in a new browser tab.
3. Click the Exports tab.
4. Select New Export.
5. Enter a name for the export.
6. Click Edit Questions to add or remove questions for export.
7. Click Edit Filter to update the filter.
8. Enter a password.
9. Click Run Export.

Verbatims report

1. Open the power survey.
2. On the Build page, click Edit to open Power Survey Authoring in a new browser tab.
3. Click the Reports tab.
4. From the New report list, select Verbatims and then click Create.
5. Enter a name for the report.
6. Click Edit Questions to add or remove questions for export.
7. Click Edit Filter to update the filter.
8. Click View.
