If you want forum invitations to be based on the completion of a survey, you can set up an ongoing invitation to a forum that targets members who have completed the survey. An email invitation to the forum is triggered once members complete the survey.
Example
You want to invite members to a follow-up forum after they have completed a customer satisfaction survey.
Detailed Steps
- In the Surveys app, open the forum.
- On the Distribute page, on the toolbar, click New Invitation.
- On the Recipients tab, from the Recipients menu, select Create a new filter.
- In the condition builder, select Activity Participation Status.
- Select the customer satisfaction survey as the source activity.
- Leave the operator set to Is.
- Select Completed as the activity status.
Your condition should look like this: - Click Save.
- On the Recipients tab, ensure Automatically send to new eligible recipients is selected.
