When a language (Culture) is removed or disabled from a community, surveys set with that language as the default can no longer be re-validated. When you try to re-validate or make any changes to the survey you will encounter issues such as being logged out of the community.
You cannot make any further changes to this survey, but you can create a new duplicate survey and resolve the issues by removing the no longer required languages.
Detailed Steps
For a survey with another language enabled:
- In the Surveys app, duplicate the survey.
- In the new duplicated study, click the Build page and click Edit to open Power Survey Authoring in a new browser tab.
- On the Language tab in Power Survey Authoring, set the new language as the Default Language for the survey.
- Go to the Questionnaire tab.
- Validate the study.
For a study with no other language enabled:
- In the Surveys app, duplicate the survey.
- In the new duplicated survey, click the Build page and click Edit to open Power Survey Authoring in a new browser tab.
- On the Language tab in Power Survey Authoring, enable an available language for the survey.

- Set the new language as the Default Language for the survey.
- Go to the Questionnaire tab.
