A refer a friend survey can be created and distributed to friends using a recruitment link from a recruitment survey. To start, in a existing recruitment survey, set up an hidden answer question to retrieve the memberid. From there, a recruitment link can be created and copied it for later use. Create a new survey titled "recruit a friend" and paste in the recruitment link in a new invitation. Finally, test the invitation and then, distribute it.
